How do I get a story in the Griffon News?
The news desk at The Griffon News covers all events, meetings and happenings on campus. Contact the News Editor with the basic information on your issue or event.
Why isn’t an event covered in the paper?
The editors of The Griffon News take several things into account when making coverage decisions. First, the number and size of advertisements for the issue determines the amount of coverage, as well as the amount of space available for all editorial content. Timeliness and significance or potential impact on students are also factors.
What is the difference between an article and a column?
An article is written by a reporter and includes previews, event coverage and features. Columns are written by columnists and feature the opinion of the writer. Columns are set off by the writer’s picture. Columns do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the entire staff.
How do I place an ad in the paper?
See the Advertising page.
