The 5K run/walk helped bring in an estimated $3,500-$4,000 for the women’s shelter

Biology professors discover new bacteriocin

A sampling of microorganisms in Agenstein Hall uncovers a currently unnamed bacteriocin that can survive in temperature that reach minus 20 degrees Celsius and can kill other organisms.

Budget increase gives Western another $1.1 million dollars

Western has received a $1.1 million budget increase from the state of Missouri for the 2008 fiscal year.
