Faculty, staff and students packed into the foyer of Potter Hall for a lady they call an icon.

After months of feeling tired and sick to her stomach 20-year-old Western soccer goalie, Shaylynn Milbourn, decided it was time to go to the doctor. She didn’t know she’d leave with the shock of her life.

Western’s budding soccer team lost its final game 3-0 to the University of Central Missouri ending their season with an overall record of one win, 15 losses and three ties.

Two new faces are leading the Student Government Association (SGA) and representing the student body.
