For those of us with a towel still safety pinned around our necks as we rush through our living room, we finally have an excuse to act like a five year- old again. On Tuesday the Man of Steel was back and in a big way.

They say to give credit where credit is due. Well my colleague’s commentary last issue spring boarded this article. And before I get bashed for claiming to be a Cardinals fan a few weeks ago, I was a Royals fan a long time before I found the Cards.

New Western T.V. show aims to show a positive campus

Lights, camera, action! Okay, so it’s not that cliché, but in October the new Missouri Western show “Western Reports” hit the television circuit.

With today’s music industry, it’s becoming harder and harder to find a band that can both play good music and maintain character through their growing popularity. St. Joseph post-hardcore band Skeffington is one of those bands, retaining talent and class as their fan base grows.

Things haven’t changed much since I’ve moved back to St. Joseph. One thing that continually changes however is my favorite catch phrase. As of late, my new favorite phrase has become “When I lived in Springfield . . .”

Forget the Rookie of the Year; the 2006 NFL season may be turning into the year of the rookies.
