“Of Mice and Men” info sidebar

This week marks the opening for “Of Mice and Men” at Missouri Western.

This epic play written by John Stienbeck about two migrant farm workers in America runs Oct. 3-5 and 9-11; the show will take place in Potter Hall Theatre at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee that will begin at 2:00 p.m.

In addition to the play, Stienbeck Scholar Dr. Brian Railsback will hold a “talkback” session after Friday, October 3 at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Railsback is an accomplished author as well as an English teacher at Western Carolina University.

Railsback will also be doing a reading and discussion on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Potter Hall Art Gallery.

Tickets are: Adult $12:00, faculty and staff $8.00, student $6.00 or free at the door with student ID.

Dallas Henry will be directing the play and assistant professor Robert Nulph will be playing “The Boss.”
