For Homecoming, the "Griff-Tazmic" Pep Rally and barbecue will start at 5:30 p.m. at Spratt Stadium. T-shirts with the theme on it will be sold for $10 at all the Homecoming events. Homecoming Co-Chair Ashley Stegall said, “We all voted and changed the theme a few times but eventually chose the Disney theme because it’s something everyone can relate to and participate in.” The events at the pep rally alone include a dance off between the different organization, speeches by the team captains and the winner of the Homecoming King and Queen will be announced. Homecoming Co-Chair Erin Teel said, “The most important thing about the pep rally is bringing out every students school spirit and also causing all the organizations to interact and communicate within each other.” “I think the pep rally really shows pride and support in the football boys and just the whole university in general," Stegall said.
