Stats this week: Points — 40; Steals — 8; Rebounds — 11

Koch had to lay it all out on the line in the final two games to not only secure the Griffons an MIAA Tournament birth, but also break the all-time point total at Western. She did both. Koch, who had the flu in Wednesday’s game against Central Missouri, overcame the loss and put together a 24-point night in a win against Southwest Baptist and advance Western to Kansas City.
