Up and away! The Griffons softball team has shown great team effort this season. With a overall record of 38-7 and 11-3 in the MIAA.

The softball team has worked hard to be where they’re standing now. It takes a lot for any team to win 32 games in a row. Any team who can pull a record that good must have good teamwork and good communication skills.

In 2008, the Griffons finished the season with a 27-28 overall record and 8-10 in the MIAA. This shows how big of a bounce back year this has been for the Griffons.
This shows heart and dedication for the Griffons. The griffons have played against some competitive teams. And for the women to be able to play hard is amazing.

If you look at other school records like Central Missouri their record so far is (31-9), Southwest Baptist record is (20-32) and Lincoln University is (11-30). It takes a lot of work for a team to have 32 games in row. For Missouri Western to go this far shows how much they really want it.

There is great coaching from Coach Jen Bagley and there are some good players that shine on the Women’s softball team. Just to name a couple players Mandie Nocita, a third baseman who also received athlete of the year, and Allison Jones, a pitcher, have been big parts of the Griffons success this season.

The Griffons softball team has set a record for Missouri Western that gives students something to be proud of. This also makes people want to come and watch the softball games, knowing our softball team is capable of winning.

The women have a chance of making number one in the championship and I think the women. They show hard work and that they really want the championship. Their record in the MIAA conference is (11-3). I feel they’ll be able to keep up the good work and have a continuous winning streak this season.

Anybody who can pull off winning 32 games is a smoking-hot team and they deserve everything that is about to come their way. Hopefully they can pull the same thing off next season and more to come.

I said before; any college team that I’ve known hasn’t done anything like this. It’s history for Western so any one who feels like they can beat that record, go hard and try. It’s not hard, you just have to work hard and know how to work as a team.

It just shows the level of commitment by the Griffons so far this season. If the Griffons continue to play as a team, and they continue to play at such a high level, then the Griffons have a chance to do special things this season.

The Griffons could even capture the national title, which would be the first one in the school’s history. Here’s hoping they fly high.
