Rock music blared throughout Missouri Western’s campus on Saturday, Aug. 25, for the 2nd annual Rock Off!

Missouri Western State University is once again accessible from Mitchell Avenue.
For the entire summer there was only one way to access campus (McCarthy Drive) due to the road construction on Mitchell that extended from the Interstate 29 Bridge to 50th St.

You’ve seen it right?
When you come into campus via Faraon like we’ve had to do all summer, there is a lovely sign here, just as some people might normally turn left to get into the student union parking lot entrance 50 feet away. No Left Turn.

The athletic director of MissouriWestern for the last five years, Mark Linder, has decided to travel back to his home state of Alabama to take the job as athletic director for the University of North Alabama.
Griffon football will rely on youth at quarterback, running back for 2007 campaign
The Missouri Western football team will look to build off last year’s successful season. The football team broke through and made their first playoff appearance last year. Many of the main players from last year’s team have graduated, so the team will look to younger players to step up.
Students entering the Blum Union this summer were greeted by an Student Government
Association-funded renovation to the Food Court, home to Quizno’s, and new television monitors in both the upstairs and downstairs lobbies. Both are an attempt to make the Union a more welcoming, popular place for students to gather on campus.
The Missouri Western volleyball team will have a new coach in charge this season. Although it’s not like they are not used to it, this will be the third coach in
three years.
