A banner displaying “CAB is WAC” might raise a few eyebrows, but it was all in good fun at the CAB Street Fair April 20. The banner was to promote the name change from Campus Activities Board to Western Activities Council, which will take affect fall 2007. (Full story)

Fifteen of Western’s aspiring Cindy Crawfords and Tyson Beckfords strutted their stuff to uproarious cheers at the annual Campus Activities Board Fashion Show as part of Springfest last Wednesday. Held in the Fulkerson Center, where a full-sized, three-sided catwalk had been erected and row after row of chairs had been arranged, the show attracted 107 spectators and loads of applause, laughs and fun.
